Position Overview
As a Communication Specialist at our Parma location, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our internal and external communication strategies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communication plans that foster engagement, promote transparency, and build trust among our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and create engaging content for internal newsletters, external press releases, social media platforms, and other communication channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify communication needs and craft tailored messaging that aligns with Amazon’s values and goals.
- Manage and monitor the company’s media presence, including responding to media inquiries and cultivating relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Implement and maintain communication measurement tools to analyze audience engagement, feedback, and effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Facilitate and coordinate employee communication initiatives, ensuring messages are aligned, consistent, and timely.
- Assist in crisis communication planning and support communication efforts during any unforeseen circumstances.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance team members’ communication skills and promote best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to translate complex ideas into clear messages.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools, social media platforms, and analytics software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
